This is a place where everything is just the way it should be. By entrance, you are saluted by fine bottles of wine. There is an amuse, and all the dishes that I ate where top notch. The orange dessert with Grand Marnier was excellent!

Smart cafe in style, excellent, high end menu plus a good wine stock. Superb lunch!

This restaurant is excellent, our favourite in Cahors and if I could award it six stars I would! Whenever we have eaten here the food has been prepared and presented very well. It doesn't just look good it tastes delicious and the portions are a decent size too. It is moderately priced rather being a cheap place to eat but you certainly get value for money. It is usually crowded so booking ahead is usually needed to be sure of getting in. Highly recommended!

Excellent price/quality Côté Sud is pleasantly located near the river Lot, in a quiet corner of Old Cahors. In summer you can eat on the terrace. Lunches are very reasonably priced but be early if you want to dine here. The restaurant caters mainly for lunches but I ate there with a large group one evening. (Not sure if diners are normally offered).

Never disappointed when we come here. The setting is lovely, the staff friendly but not over-bearing. The food is ALWAYS really tasty. We never look at the menu before booking a table (recommended in holiday seasons), just turn up and want to have everything! Try the monkfish and prawn terrine with fresh aioli! Yum!!!

Best food in France!! So fresh and made with care. The Gazpacho was 10/10…so was the Tuna and Cannelloni…and Choux dessert with caramel sauce!! Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant!!
